Monster Mash

Here is a card using a set that was released last year from Lawn Fawn, Monster Mash. I just love these cute little monsters!

I love to make my own backgrounds with inks, water colors, etc.  For this card, I took a piece of water color cardstock and wet it with a water brush. I then took Ranger Perfect Pearls and mixed them with water to paint over the entire piece of water color cardstock. I used stitched circle dies from Simon Says Stamp to cut out 3 different circles from the water color paper. I attached the water color paper to a white card base and splattered it using Mowed Lawn distress ink. I stamped the monsters on Bristol Smooth card stock with Ranger Archival Black Ink. They were colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. I used the coordinating dies and cut them out with my Big Shot machine. I tucked the monsters in each circle and added the one that is flying with glue dots. I finished up with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and the sentiment.  Most of the products used are listed at the bottom of this post.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge

Hello!  I have a card today that I made for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect challenge.

I used Zoo Crew and Birthday Sampler stamp sets from Paper Smooches for this card.  The background was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder.  The zebra is heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I finished up the card with some sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Use A Stamp
