Monster Mash

Here is a card using a set that was released last year from Lawn Fawn, Monster Mash. I just love these cute little monsters!

I love to make my own backgrounds with inks, water colors, etc.  For this card, I took a piece of water color cardstock and wet it with a water brush. I then took Ranger Perfect Pearls and mixed them with water to paint over the entire piece of water color cardstock. I used stitched circle dies from Simon Says Stamp to cut out 3 different circles from the water color paper. I attached the water color paper to a white card base and splattered it using Mowed Lawn distress ink. I stamped the monsters on Bristol Smooth card stock with Ranger Archival Black Ink. They were colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. I used the coordinating dies and cut them out with my Big Shot machine. I tucked the monsters in each circle and added the one that is flying with glue dots. I finished up with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and the sentiment.  Most of the products used are listed at the bottom of this post.

Happy Halloween

Who could be afraid of these adorable ghosts?  This is my last card using this stamp set for now.  Time to move on to some Thanksgiving and fall cards.

I used water color paper and distress inks for the background.  I put some of the ink on my craft mat and placed the paper on top to transfer the ink onto the paper.  I love the messy water color look that you get when doing this!  The costumes were colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Marker and wink of stella clear marker.  The sentiment is heat embossed and the spiders were stamped with Ranger Black Archival Ink. I used foam adhesive to "pop" up the ghosts.
