You are Pawesome!

Here is a cute simple card made from the Simon Says stamp You are Pawesome stamp set.    I also used the paw prints from the Furever in your heart stamp set.  The hearts were die cut from glitter paper using Lawn Fawn Heart Dies.

I heat embossed the greeting with white embossing powder.  I used black embossing powder for the dog and the paw prints.   I took Gathered Twigs Distress inks and a water brush to paint the dog.

Celebrate Stand Up Card

I love using dies!  I use dies on almost every project I do!  I don't know how I ever made cards or scrapbook pages before I owned a Big Shot or Cuttlebug!

Here is a Birthday card I made with many dies.
Here is the card standing up.

 The front of the card...
and the inside if the card.

The balloons were cut using Sizzix Triplits Balloon dies and wool felt from Stephanie Barnard.
These dies are so much fun because you can mix and match the dies to make hundreds of different designs!
The card base and panels were cut using Sizzix Royal Stand Up Dies.  The Celebrate word and shadow dies are from The Stamps of Life's new card kit.

After die cutting all my pieces all I had to do is glue and assemble!  It was easy and fun!  I just played around with the die cuts until I liked the placement and design.  I used bakers twine for the balloon strings and tied them together.  I also went over the word Celebrate with a clear Wink of Stella brush tip pen.

I am participating in a blog hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh.  Make sure you click HERE to see what other crafters have created using dies!  So many great ideas!

Bear Hugs

I am entering my first Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh.

Here is an adorable card using Simon Says Stamp Circle Friends stamp set.
For this card, I took a circle die from Sizzix and cut out 3 circles on my patterned paper.  I traced the circles with pencil onto my white cardstock that I am using for my card base.  I stamped the bear at different places inside the pencil marked circle.  Colored him in with colored pencils and erased the pencil lines.  I used black embossing powder for the sentiment and added cute enamel hearts to each circle.

Bookmark

Today I decided to make a new bookmark since the one I am currently using is pretty old.  Yes, I still read regular books!  For some reason I still have a hard time buying e-books.  It just doesn't feel the same as holding an actual book!

I used the new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called To Thine Own Shelf.  This set came in their monthly card kit.  I just love this set and all the individual images you get with it.

I also used cardstock and a sticker sheet that came in the kit.  I used Close To My Heart mini pigment inks and randomly stamped the images. I used black embossing powder for the picture frames and a white gel pen to make the labels and spines on the books stand out.  I also used brown chalk ink around the edge of the lighter cardstock to distress it a little bit.  I added some string and fibers that I have had in my stash.  This was really easy and super fun to make!

You're Spot On

I just received my first Simon Say Stamp order and was excited to play with some of the stamps sets.  One of the sets is called Circle Friends.  This set is so adorable!!

I used white embossing powder for the sentiment and then used sponges and Colorbox ink to make the rainbow of colors over the sentiment. The dots between the dogs are from an embossing folder that where sanded and color was added with sponges.

I can see me using this set often!  I love it!
Thanks for looking! Happy crafting!
