A few weeks ago I finally took the plunge and upgraded to the Cricut Explore!! When the Cricut Explore Air was introduced and I discovered that you can use your IPAD, I was sold!!! So now I am addicted to the world of SVG's!!!! I found a few websites that have awesome SVG images that I can use for my projects!!!! Here is a Butterfly treat tube filled with Whoppers Mini Robbin Eggs.
This was so simple and fun to make! I used a butterfly SVG from SVG Cutting Files. They have a Freebie section of free SVG files and this is a great way to try before you buy! But beware, you will want to buy after seeing the cute images and how easy they are to use!
I cut out the butterfly with Close To My Heart cardstock in Hollyhock, black, and parchment (this is a retired color) using Cricut Design Space. I also made a little box for my tube to sit in. I assembled the butterfly and added pieces of glitter paper behind each hole. I also added google eyes to add more character. Isn't he cute?! To finish it off, I added my treats to the tube and tied a bow around it with some ribbon!
I am entering this into the SVG Cutting Files Monthly Challenge.
I will be doing more projects using SVG's....so stay tuned!
Happy Crafting!
Amy
Wow! This is cute! I need to learn how to do things like this! You should hold classes, lol. These would be great little things for my kids classmates and teachers! I cannot wait to see what else you make!
